Medical Massage

Medical Massage is given with the the intent of improving a specific condition diagnosed by a physician. I use different techniques, and heat, during the treatment, with the focus to treat the areas related to the diagnosis. The treatment typically takes several visits to reach the goals of the client and/or their physician. 

 

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage work extends beneath superficial muscles felt at the surface, to the deeper muscles, helping treat & relieve chronic tension and pain due to repetitive motion & past injuries. I often use heat to help soften superficial tissues in the area to make this treatment as comfortable as possible.

 

Communication is vital during both Medical & Deep Tissue Massage, to make sure that the treatment does not get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind when scheduling your appointment that soreness is common. Good hydration is plays a key role in helping flush your system after these types of massage, so plan to drink plenty of water before, and after treatment. 

 

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage is massage given during, and after pregnancy. While I do have special training to give pregnancy massage, and have years of experience, I do require written permission from your doctor before we begin treatments, for the safety of you, and your baby. Pregnancy massage can be a wonderful complement to prenatal care. It helps reduce stress, relieves back pain, improves sleep, and much more. I offer side lying massage for pregnancy massage, using multiple bolsters and pillows, to provide personalized comfort for each individual. I take great care to provide a comfortable, and safe, treatment during all stages of pregnancy, including postpartum. 

 

 

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is great for relaxation! It can give you relief of muscular tension, improve circulation and range of motion. I use a variety of techniques to give you the massage that will work best for you. I offer a variety of hydrotherapy & aromatherapy to further personalize your massage.

 

Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic Massage is the most popular choice among my clients. It is a combination of any modalities to reach personalized goals for an individual. A regular session of therapeutic massage will often have a combination of hydrotherapy, deep tissue massage, stretching and Swedish massage. While a therapeutic massage can be relaxing, the goals are usually to alleviate muscle spasms, stiffness, pain, discomfort and to increase range of motion. The wide range of possibilities is what makes this the most popular choice!
